Wood Threads (Marimba Duet)

Wood Threads (2021) by Kyle Ramsay and Kyle Hammack is an intermediate-advanced pseudo-improvisational jam for two 4.3-octave marimbas filled with winding themes that weave and wrap around each other. Both parts are highly syncopated, and each depends on the other to bring the full tapestry into view. The piece is written for two 4.3-Octave marimbas and is approximately 3:30 in length.
